Hi everyone,

we are moving our databases from the SAP servers to a separate Oracle
RAC instance. In the profile, the parameter SAPDBHOST is added, an the
RFC destination SAPXPG_DBDEST_$rachost is added automatically. But no
command from DB13 will work.

We have no SAP gateway on the RAC host (policy), so it is necessary that
the commands are transmitted via rsh or ssh. Issuing the respective
commands on command line (as SAP user, as Oracle User) works flawlessly.

SAPnote 980266 describes the problem, but gives the solution only for
the gateway - how can I avoid using the gateway and use rsh (which is a
symlink to ssh) directly?

Regards,
Werner
