SAP R3 and Ubuntu Certification

Hello all,
I dont know if anybody has told anything about this issue, but the main problem of a certification
for installing sap is the fact that there is not support for them.
So its very difficult for a company to run a SAP Productive instance if there is no official support in case
of problems.
It is true that it could be a group of Ubuntu administrators behind all, but i think it is not a clear bussines
for SAP.
I also think that it could be better to certify debian instead of Ubuntu, but it seems that we wont see it.

Not today, and i think not soon too, because Ubuntu kernel is very slower yet comparing with SuSE or RH but the most important is the ubuntu philosophy looks for Freedom and that is not SAP philosophy, but SuSE and RH are comercial distribuition

Looking forward to an answer
