Problems starting WAS6.10 after installation on SuSE 7.3

Hello Thomas,

as which user are you trying to start ans stop the system? root?!
You have to use <sid>adm (which would be wasadm in your case).

Just do an 'su - wasadm'  before startig the SAP System

If you are already using wasadm, I remember that there was a problem 
with the KDE. I do not remember the Symptom, but when you use a console 
(e.g. CRTL-ALT-F1) instead of a shell in KDE that should work...
